History of the Firm   

Founded in 1998 by William B. Schiller and Paul B. Knapp, the firm focuses on the needs of lending institutions, including foreclosure, bankruptcy, creditor’s rights and loss mitigation.

The firm has grown and continues to add attorneys, as well as an impressive team of legal professionals, with an
in-depth knowledge of bankruptcy, foreclosure, creditor’s rights, and loss mitigation. We provide solutions to the
complex problems our clients encounter.

Our clients range from some of the region’s largest lenders to individuals and sole proprietorships. Schiller &
Knapp, LLP, provides representation throughout New York State in both the State and Federal Courts.
